May 2013 Bluum Box Review

I'm not really thrilled with this one. It lacked the "wow" factor.

First look:

Real first look:

May's Bluum Box theme was "brush up".

I actually love this little thing! It has no removable parts and a belly made of soft ramie.

Alright so.. I tried this an actually like it! I'm a sucker for facial products and was not disappointed! If it wasn't so darn expensive I'd purchase it. (full size, $89)

There really isn't much to say here. It's just soap pump, lol.
Pony toothbrush. The bristles are soft.

Toothgel [Bubble Gum Flavor] by Oraline Kids (value $6)

OraLThis was probably my favorite product in the box. Fluoride free is always a winner in my book.

I love these. We actually buy these ourselves. Do recommend!

Cute, folds out instead of being a page-by-page book. S loved it! It has a little water squirter and a squeaker.

Bluum sent me an email with the prices of the products, but I've found them various places online for a lot cheaper.. None-the-less the total estimated value of May's Bluum Box was $54.63, which is not bad considering I paid $24.95..

However, I won't be renewing my subscription to Bluum this month, as I'm going to try out Citrus Lane instead.

Moar Boxes!

My GlossyBox and Bluum boxes came today, so expect reviews later.

I already unboxed my GlossyBox and  it was packed full of goodies! I just need to get an estimated value of the products and some good pictures before I can post the review.

The Bluum box shipped to my mom's house so I have to wait for her to bring it before S can unbox it. (I'm letting S open it since it is hers).

Moving Boxes

First and foremost, thanks for stopping by.

Now let's talk moving.

Why the flip is this so difficult? We've looked at several houses and NONE have came through. This is so frustrating as we have to be out of this hotel by the 12th (unless we want to pay $700 for another month here - no thanks). We really don't want to rent an apartment because S has chickens, but it's looking like we have no choice.

{Great.}

Onto something more fun: I've ordered several of those monthly subscription boxes this month.

Bluum

Bluum offers products/samples based on you child's age. They also include a surprise for mom. There are a lot of mixed reviews about Bluum but I'm hoping for $24.95 it's at least halfway decent. We shall see. Bluum does offer a one year subscription to Parents or Family Fun when you first sign up. Their website says May's theme is "Brush Up" and I'm really looking forward to it. You can click here to place your own order.

GlossyBox
GlossyBox is a (high)end cosmetics and beauty product sampler and seems to have generally positive reviews online.  Each box contains at least one full-sized product. You can order yours or $21 right here.

Ipsy
Ipsy is another comestics/beauty product sampler. You answer a few questions about yourself and each month they send you a make-up bag with 4 - 6 products. The reviews are mixed as some people have claimed that the bags have a strong, unpleasant odor. For only $10 a month I decided to give it a try. Order yours here.

I'll post a review for each one of these as soon as I get them. I'm pretty excited!
