Tomorrow is Monkey's 2nd birthday! Where did the time go?

We also *hopefully* find out the gender. 

Gahhhh I'm so excited!

My aunt found out last week that she's having a little girl after 2 boys (19, 9). She's about 5 weeks ahead of me. Her due date is January 6th (but she has to have a C-Sect so her babe will probably be here the last week of December) and my original due date was February 6th (now February 9th). Cool huh?

I'm 16 weeks today!

How far along? 16 weeks!

Total weight gain: None

Maternity clothes? Nope

Stretch marks? No new ones!

Sleep: Normal

Weight gain: - 9lbs

Miss anything? Nope

Movement? Occasional Flutters; Getting more noticeable now.

Food cravings? Sprite; Pineapples

Anything making you queasy or sick? EVERYTHING. 

Gender? It's too early to tell, but S and I are leaning towards boy!

Labor signs? Nope

Symptoms? They're easing up now but nausea still gets me.

20 Days

So.. It's been TWENTY days since my last post..

Mostly because my computer is out of commission and I do NOT like to make posts from the app.

 

 

I had my an appointment on July 5th.

It went GOOD. I asked my OB about how he approaches the birth experience and couldn't be happy with his replies!

I also had an ultrasound:

I was 8 weeks 5 days according to measurements which puts my due date at February 9th, 2014.

The babe's heartrate was 177bpm and when the tech (love her btw) zoomed in, s/he was moving his/her little arm and leg buds! So cuuuute!

How far along? 9!weeks 3 days

Total weight gain: None 4 lbs lost.

Maternity clothes? Nope

Stretch marks? No new ones!

Sleep: Normal

Weight gain: - 4lbs

Miss anything? Nope

Movement? Not yet

Food cravings? Food is public enemy #1 right now.

Anything making you queasy or sick? EVERYTHING. Pizza. Coke. Everything that isn't salad. Especially greasy, meaty food. Bread. Just everything.

7 weeks 1 day!

It's been waaaaay too long since my last post. My younger cousin has been here for the past two weeks and I haven't really had a chance to post. 

We both came down with either food poisoning or gastroentitis on the same day. 

That was no fun at all! 

She's going home tomorrow.

My nana also passed away about a week ago, which was devastating to me. 

Alas, onto the best news: baby!

I've had two doctor visits since my last post!

In case you're not familiar with ultrasounds, in the first one what you see is the gestational sac. In the second picture, you can see both the yolk sac and gestational sac. Cool right? 

My next appointment is July 5th and we should be seeing the heartbeat!

I also found out that I do in fact, have low progesterone. It was 7.7 and should measure over 20. I bet ANYTHING this is what caused my other losses! I'm happy to have an answer though. I started oral supplements and things have been going smoothly!

Food cravings? Orange soda, Subway Cold Cut Combo with American Cheese and all the veggies except green peppers and jalenpenos. Add vinegar and oil with extra vinegar. Oh yes.

34 weeks 4 days

Today, I'm 34 weeks and 4 days. It seems like my pregnancy has been so easy! I haven't really had many symptoms - no morning sickness, sore breasts, mood swings, ECT.

One of the things I do notice is when I wake up my hips hurt.

Bad.

I also need to pee quite often now (super-annoying) and I can express colostrum from my boobies :D Sahara's movements are not really painful and haven't ever woken me up (that I'm aware of?).


Sergio told me that he's getting scared now. I told him now maybe he understands how I've been feeling since I first felt her little kicks and realized that we would have a baby in September!
